Internationalising UWS: Opportunities and Challenges

A Discussion Paper, "Internationalising UWS: Opportunities and Challenges" has been prepared to invite your input to the development of the University's International strategy.

The Paper captures early thinking on the University's current and emerging strengths and suggests strategies to build a university of global standing.

You are welcome to provide feedback by attending a forum, participating in a Yammer chat with Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Linda Taylor, or by submitting your feedback online. More information on each is provided below.

Forums

You are invited to find out more about the Discussion Paper at forums hosted by Linda titled "Internationalising UWS: What are the Challenges and Opportunities?"

The details for the forums are as follows:

  • Monday 2 March, 3.15pm to 4.15pm, Parramatta campus, Building EE.G.02 (Auditorium Wing)
  • Wednesday 4 March, 3.15pm to 4.15pm, Kingswood campus, Building P.1.24

Afternoon tea will be provided from 3.00pm to 3.15pm.

Yammer chat

Linda will be hosting an 'Ask the Executive' Yammer chat with staff on Tuesday 10 March from 11am to 12pm about the Discussion Paper.

To join the Yammer chat, log in to Yammer (opens in a new window) at 11am and search for Linda's post in the All Company feed.

If you haven't already, you will need to join the UWS Yammer network. To join, go to the Yammer website (opens in a new window), enter your UWS email address and follow the prompts.
