E.A. Southee Scholarship

The Hawkesbury Agricultural College Old Boys Union, now the Hawkesbury Alumni Chapter, to perpetuate the memory of E.A. Southee, who for 33 years (1921 - 1954) was Principal of Hawkesbury Agricultural College, is pleased to present the E.A Southee Scholarship.

The scholarship is open to 

1. Graduates who studied on Hawkesbury Campus and hold an accredited award from the University of Western Sydney, UWS Hawkesbury or Hawkesbury Agricultural College.
2. Post graduate students now studying on the Hawkesbury Campus.
3. Undergraduate students now studying on the Hawkesbury Campus, who have successfully completed not less than one year, who wish to further their studies in agriculture or related sciences.

The range of studies for which the scholarship is granted is quite wide but a study must have as its objective an appropriate degree of value to Australian agriculture or related sciences.

Payment of the Scholarship shall be progressive and made in full subject to successfully undertaking the study and presenting a final report to the Committee.

The Scholarship being offered this year is up to the value of AUD $10 000.00
