Email and Related Services

Microsoft Exchange is the system that controls our email, task lists, calendar and contact information. Users can view and share e-mail, calendars, task lists, contacts through Microsoft Outlook on a desktop or notebook PC, Outlook Web Access (OWA) or on a number of handheld wireless devices.

Microsoft Outlook is installed on all standard UWS desktop and notebook computers, and is the primary method staff will use to access Exchange services.

Off campus access to Exchange is primarily available through Outlook Web Access (OWA). There is no need to install special software to use OWA, as all it runs via your standard web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. To access your email with OWA, point your web browser to: http://email.uws.edu.au, and login with your MyUWSAccount credentials.
