Student Associations

UWSSA
The primary objectives of UWSSA (the UWS Students’ Association) are to provide welfare, representation and advocacy support services for all students who study at UWS.

UWSSA has offices on every campus, and the services they provide include:

  • reduced price photocopying
  • welfare support and referral services
  • assistance with advice on academic issues and University policy and administrative procedures.
  • secondhand books
  • social activities
  • student diaries
  • shuttle buses on some campuses
  • clubs and societies.

PAUWS
PAUWS (the Postgraduate Students’ Association of the University of Western Sydney) is the student association that looks after the specific and often unique needs of the postgraduate student community at UWS.

PAUWS has offices on every campus, and the services they provide include:

  • welfare support
  • advocacy
  • communication network (website and newsletters)
  • computer labs
  • recreational activities
  • guest speakers and forums.
