CareerHub gives students and recent graduates access to all of Careers & Cooperative Education's services.
Employers can advertise jobs, placements and careers events on CareerHub.

How to Search for Industry Placements
To search for Careers & Cooperative Education industry placements on CareerHub:
- Log on to CareerHub.
- From the left hand side of the CareerHub main screen, select Browse Jobs.
- Under CCE Placements, select 'view all' or 'filter by discipline'.
- If filtering by discipline, select 'view all' under the relevant discipline.
- Browse the list of placements.
- Select the title of the placement you are interested in, to view placement details.
- Carefully read the details, including the essential and desirable criteria.

How to Apply for Industry Placements
To apply for a Vacation Program placement:
- Search for an industry placement on CareerHub (as above).
- Under Application Procedures, select the link to access the online application form.
- Complete the online application form, ensuring you address the essential and desirable criteria for each placement and complete all mandatory fields. You can select up to three placements for which you would like to apply.
- Select the Submit button.
To apply for an Employment Program placement:
- Search for an industry placement on CareerHub (as above).
- Mail, email, fax or deliver the following to Kelly Thompson, Program Coordinator:
- cover letter addressing the selection criteria
- résumé
- names and contact details of two referees
- student number
- copy of your academic transcript or a written statement providing us with permission to access your academic record.
To apply for a Research Internship:
- Search for an industry placement on CareerHub (as above).
- Mail, email, fax or deliver the following to Freny Tayebjee, Manager, Careers & Cooperative Education:
- cover letter addressing the selection criteria
- résumé
- names and contact details of two referees
- student number
- copy of your academic transcript or a written statement providing us with permission to access your academic record.
To apply for an International Internship:
- Search for an industry placement on CareerHub (as above).
- Write a cover letter addressing the selection criteria.
- Write a one-page statement of purpose outlining your motivation for applying and what you hope to gain from the placement. You should also outline anticipated challenges and how you would attempt to overcome these. Special mention should be made of any extra-curricular activities and travel experience.
- Complete an Application Form (contact Freny Tayebjee to request).
- Arrange for two referees (one academic and one personal) to complete the Referee Report (contact Freny Tayebjee to request) and forward their completed form directly to Freny Tayebjee.
- Mail, email, fax or deliver the following to Freny Tayebjee:
- cover letter addressing the selection criteria
- statement of purpose
- application form
- résumé
- copy of your UWS academic transcript or a written statement providing us with permission to access your academic record
- copy of any non-UWS transcript.

How to Search for Workshops, Employer Presentations and Careers Expos
To search for upcoming careers workshops, employer presentations on campus and careers expos on CareerHub:
- Log on to CareerHub.
- From the right hand side of the CareerHub main screen, select 'view ALL events'.
- Select the title of the workshop, employer presentation or careers expo you are interested in.
- Please see Workshop Registration Guidelines before registering for a workshop.

Advertising Jobs and Placements to Students/Graduates
To advertise a job vacancy or placement to students and recent graduates on CareerHub:
- Register your organisation on CareerHub by selecting Register on CareerHub then complete and submit the online form. Once your registration is approved by Careers & Cooperative Education, you will receive email confirmation.
- After your registration is approved, submit your order and payment online.
- After you have submitted payment, log in to CareerHub by selecting Login to CareerHub then entering your username and password. From the left hand side of the CareerHub main screen, select 'Add a New Job' then complete and submit the online form. Once your job is approved by Careers & Cooperative Education, you will receive email confirmation.

Advertising Careers Events to Students/Graduates
To advertise a careers event to students and recent graduates on CareerHub:
- Register your organisation on CareerHub by selecting Register on CareerHub then completing and submitting the online form. Once your registration is approved by Careers & Cooperative Education, you will receive email confirmation.
- After your registration is approved, submit your order and payment online.
- After you have submitted your payment, log in to CareerHub by selecting Login to CareerHub then entering your username and password. From the left hand side of the CareerHub main screen, select 'Request an Event' then complete and submit the online form. Once your event is approved by Careers & Cooperative Education, you will receive email confirmation.
