Top Interview Tips

Some of these may seem obvious but it is amazing how many people break the golden rules:

• turn off your mobile phone
• arrive about 10–15 minutes early
• dress appropriately and professionally
• check your appearance before you go to reception
• give a warm and courteous greeting
• be confident about your skills and experience
• be enthusiastic about the position and organisation
• be honest as interviewers can detect a bluff
• make appropriate eye contact
• listen carefully to the interviewer and the questions
• show interest by asking researched and relevant questions.
