UWS' flagship placement programs have been linking students with organisations in Greater Western Sydney and beyond for over 13 years. Careers & Cooperative Education currently leads the NSW Chapter of the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN).

Industry Placement Programs for Students/Graduates

Applications are still open for some Summer Vacation Projects. To view all currently available industry placements, please log on to CareerHub.

Careers & Cooperative Education's industry placement programs provide opportunities for UWS students from all years and disciplines to gain paid, degree-relevant industry experience. This is a great way for students and recent graduates to boost their resume, make valuable contacts and gain a competitive edge in the job market.

Completion of a Careers & Cooperative Education placement may meet the requirements of some internship/engagement units within courses - please check with your course adviser. If required, Careers & Cooperative Education can provide a written letter to support your request for academic credit.

'The cooperative program experience was extremely rewarding, and I encourage all students to participate... this program has re-assured me that I am undertaking the correct degree.'
