Program Schedule

Location

The UWS Business Careers Expo will be held in the Sir Ian Turbott Auditorium, Building EE, on the Parramatta campus. The Parramatta campus is located on the corner of James Ruse Drive and Victoria Road, Rydalmere.

Facilities

Each exhibitor will be provided with:

• 1 x booth 2.5 x 2.0 m or 1 x booth 4.0 x 2.0 m (limited numbers of double booths)
• 1 x table, 1.8 m length
• 1 x white rectangular table cloth
• 2 x chairs
• Signage
• A light lunch (for up to 4 people) and afternoon tea

The venue is quite spacious and there will be space available for free standing banners etc. Please bring a supply of velcro fasteners.

Some power outlets will be available. If you require power and have not already informed us, please let us know your requirements as soon as possible.

Expected Numbers

It is expected that over 1000 Business students will attend the UWS Business Careers Expo. In addition, students from other undergraduate areas of study who are considering Business as a postgraduate option, are likely to attend.

Drop Off/Pick Up Points

The closest drop off point is on the west side of Building EE, indicated by the arrow below.

Refer to the large scale map for a map of the entire campus.

Please ensure you collect your complimentary parking ticket from the drop off point.

Courier Deliveries

Courier delivery times: Monday 23 March between 8am and 12 noon
Courier pick-up times: Monday 23 March between 4pm and 6pm

Complete and attach the proforma courier address label to each box of your delivery. This will ensure your items are received safely and will be at your booth when you arrive.

Parking

Please refer to the campus map for designated parking areas (see link under Location). It is recommended to park in P1 or P2. Parking can be a challenge but students are coming and going frequently. Please collect your complimentary parking ticket from the drop off point near Building EE and affix it to the front driver's side windscreen. Alternatively, a casual daily parking permit costs $4.00 and is available from the ticket machines in each car park.

Insurance

UWS has liability insurance that provides cover for its negligence. However, it does not extend to cover the negligence of a third party. UWS requires each exhibiting organisation to provide its own public liability insurance coverage for the event. As a condition of participation you are required to sign a UWS Insurance Indemnity Form. Please ensure that this form is returned to Terrie Smith via fax on (02) 4736 0377 or email terrie.smith@uws.edu.au as soon as possible. This form essentially states that each party will be responsible for its actions, ie in the event of injury or damage, the party that caused the loss or damage will be responsible for any claims arising.
