Welcome to the For Schools pages at the University of Western Sydney, where you will find information about UWS/school partnerships, programs, learning opportunities for students and school staff, resources, events, research projects, news and views, and much more.

UWS has a Schools Strategic Plan (PDF, 126Kb) (Building Better Relationships with Schools 2008-10) and Schools Action Plan 2008 (PDF, 88Kb) to build mutually beneficial relationships with the schools in Greater Western Sydney.

The Plans reflect the importance we place on our connection and commitment to educational attainment in Greater Western Sydney, and our engagement in school and community-based partnerships. UWS works with school and community leaders to improve the opportunities and outcomes for students across the Greater West. Our schools projects and partnerships include expansion of existing successful initiatives and the launch of new programs that respond to priority needs identified by the education sector.

These pages currently contain only a small part of what we have planned. We will be adding more content as the Strategic Plan is implemented and new initiatives begin. Over time these pages will be linked to all UWS/school partnerships, programs, activities and events.

Your feedback is welcome. In future new proposals and draft programs for UWS/school activities may be put on this website for your comment.
