
Message from the Executive Dean
Welcome to the College of Health and Science at the University of Western Sydney.
The disciplines in our college pave the way for the future. The college represents the largest science-based group in Australia and encompasses multiple discipline areas such as medicine, mathematics, biology, chemistry, construction, industrial design, horticulture, agriculture, animal and plant science, biomolecular science, nanotechnology, environmental science and ecology, smart foods, forensic science, health science, exercise and sports science, nursing, midwifery and complementary medicine.
Our research programs are instrumental in developing positive changes in economic, social, community and environmental contexts. The breadth of our research teams' expertise extends across plant and food science, medical science, environmental science and engineering, civil engineering and construction, bionanotechnology, nanomaterials, public health and health systems, medical informatics, artificial intelligence, software engineering, deer and koala research, water and irrigation futures.
