Snakes in the laundry and dreary meals of mutton are just some of the memories post-war immigrants have shared in this fascinating photographic exhibition rekindling memories of migrant life in Australia. The exhibition features highlights from a collection of around 22,000 photographs, taken by government photographers documenting the experiences of post-World War II migrants to Australia. A Place to Call Home? is a touring exhibition from the National Archives of Australia and has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory board.

Opening hours: Thursdays & Fridays 10am to 4pm. Also Saturday 23 May from 10am – 4pm. Free entry
